About me
A true citizen of the world, Jacqueline Hurlbert has crafted a unique understanding not only of the sports industry but also of the vast and rapidly shifting landscape of the global marketplace, thanks to her time spent in nearly every corner of the globe.
Placing the label of “home” on destinations such as Scarborough, Ontario, Phoenix, Arizona, Calgary, Alberta, Nanaimo BC, and even Sydney, Australia — Jacqui possesses uncommon insight into sports marketing, which she has harnessed and applied to management and marketing at various levels. Approaching the challenges of her work life with the same tenacity and determination as she does her personal development, this rising star of the sporting world has exceeded expectations, excelling during each new undertaking of her sport-centric career.
Hurlbert made “herstory” in the hockey world, breaking in as the first-ever female General Manager in the Heritage Junior Hockey League – as well as the youngest – at just 22… and she was truly just getting started! In the seasons that followed, her roles evolved and expanded to include titles such as Director of Marketing and Sponsorship, Director of Business Operations & Community Relations, and Director of Marketing and Ticket Sales across several clubs — even allowing her to represent the Alberta Junior Hockey League at a showcase tournament in Russia, where she helped facilitate international attention for the league and its players.
She has since joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders, rising to the role of Director, Marketing & Fan Engagement, where she has once again put her stamp on the organization, facilitating the growth and inclusivity of the Club’s marketing and events efforts to encompass an expanding audience within the provincial borders and beyond.
